This short review is aimed at emphasizing the recent most prominent advances in electrochemical investigation of interactions molecules with purely lipid bilayers. The first part which deals electrode-supported bilayer membranes articulated around nature electrode material a focus on mercury to celebrate this special issue entitled “100 years from polarography contemporary electrochemistry”. second devoted suspended or free-standing that are robust models investigate passive transport molecules. It notably shown molecular electrochemistry methods such as cyclic voltammetry, square wave amperometry, impedance spectroscopy, electrochemiluminescence well-adapted for molecules/lipids These various techniques bring meaningful information molecule/lipid and modes across phospholipids.
